Make sure your security technology works for your organization.
Business security system design is the process that allows clients to control the access that people (insiders and outsiders) have to their organizations assets with a coordinated and prioritized approach to asset protection by design. Protus3 business security system designers work with our clients, architects, and engineers to incorporate the security into the overall corporate facility/campus design. Client outcomes include layers of business security based on the value of the assets, flexibility, efficiencies and cost savings.
Creating a well-designed business security system requires a commercial security assessment to understand our client’s culture, philosophy, operations assets and expected outcomes so that we can appropriately recommend and write specifications for specific devices, create drawings, develop RFP’s, evaluate solutions, and commission projects depending on the commercial client’s needs. Protus3 will partner with you in order to create a seamless and effective business security protocol that complements your established corporate security program and protects your organization’s assets.
Protus3 provides business security system design services in support of system upgrades, new installations in existing facilities, installations in buildings in design or under construction, and in conjunction with a corporate security threat assessment.

DESIGN COORDINATION / PHYSICAL SECURITY ASSESSMENT
When working for an architect or engineer on new construction, Protus3 coordinates business security system design with related components, including door hardware, electrical, fire and life safety, landscaping, and lighting. When working directly for a client who will be the end-user of the system, Protus3 coordinates designs with IT, facilities, and other departments or divisions as needed.
Once designed, a business security system does not stand alone but must be managed correctly.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Design is only one step in the process. Once the business security system design is complete, Protus3 can work with you to develop a bid package, select a business security system integrator/installer, and manage the project through construction, commissioning, and acceptance. Protus3 provides the subject matter experts, security training and security management to support the customer throughout the project at whatever level is appropriate.
The ultimate goal is to produce a final system that is installed correctly and functioning as designed.
Security Integration
Business security should control and protect assets, not disrupt effective and efficient operations. That is why Protus3 looks at an organization’s culture, security philosophy, and operations when determining the appropriate technology to recommend. This requires a comprehensive corporate security program that encompasses the people, processes, and technology of the organization. In some cases, an operational solution is more effective and less expensive than a technological solution.
Technology is only one component of effective business security.
