Coronavirus Response

Protus3 Crisis Management Planning, News

coronavirusConsistent with Protus3’s commitment to help our clients plan and protect in order to prosper, we are monitoring the situation caused by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) elevated the outbreak classification to an official pandemic. Protus3 continues to evaluate our operations and continuity plans in order to provide for the ongoing health and safety of our employees, clients, and communities. Protus3 is monitoring the situation on a continual basis. We will continue implementing measures in accordance with business continuity plans and in response to developing situations.

All Protus3 operations remain fully functional and are projected to continue uninterrupted.

As with most plans, an appropriate and adequate response is comprehensive yet flexible enough to respond to specific events and threats. The process of assessing an incident or threat and then containing or mitigating the risk is a core competency in our industry. Our business continuity plans provide for redundancy and continuity of core technical and administrative functions.

As additional precautionary measures, Protus3 has implemented the following responses:

  • Travel: We are evaluating all employee travel. We will avoid Coronavirus hotspots, or employees may self-quarantine for 14 days. In some cases, we will determine alternative means of accomplishing on-site tasks. For some projects, we may decide to delay travel until determined to be safe.
  • Hygiene: We regularly disinfect commonly touched items and areas in the Protus3 workspace with products approved for this use. In common areas, we provide hand sanitizer and soap for hand washing.
  • Remote Work: All employees are equipped and encouraged to work remotely on short notice. Flexible sick leave and remote work arrangements are available to encourage employees to take sick leave if symptoms appear.
  • Public guidance: We will adhere to the requirements and recommendations of appropriate governmental agencies. In addition, we will assist with efforts to control the spread of the Coronavirus.

We commit to continue monitoring this situation. Protus3 will take the steps necessary to preserve business continuity in order to continue to help our clients plan and protect so they can prosper.

In conclusion, if you have any questions about our preparedness for this Coronavirus outbreak, please feel free to contact us by phone (919-834-8584) or email.
