Wake Forest Community Library

It was an honor to help celebrate the opening of the newly expanded Wake Forest Community Library. Tim Bullock represented Protus3 at this event.

The 9,000-square-foot library will offer youth programs, a collection of up to 50,000 books, 16 public computers and WiFi. It will feature an increased youth programming space. There will also be enlarged reading and study areas for both children and adults.

Protus3 provided security system design and project management services for the Wake Forest Community Library Addition and Renovation. The project included a 4,000 square foot addition and renovation to the existing 5,170 square foot library facility. A design was originally completed in 2008 and then suspended due to the economic downturn. This project included revisions to the original design and also expanded design for additional security considerations.

A well-designed security system requires an understanding of a facility’s culture, philosophy, and operations. The designer must also possess technical knowledge about specific devices and equipment.

Protus3 partners with clients to design technological solutions that complement people and processes. The goal is a secure work environment and the protection of the organization’s assets. Protus3 also provides security system design services in support of system upgrades and new installations, and in conjunction with a security threat assessment.
