Risk Management Associates, Inc. is providing an internship position through Wake Technical Community College. This intern will assist the network administrator with managing the network, reviewing and/or writing policy and procedures involving network use, disaster recovery, user support, and other such tasks that fall under the umbrella of network management. Other tasks may include assisting with computer forensics activities.
The intern would be involved in supporting a 25 user network in a Windows environment. Also involved would be the maintenance of Microsoft Servers, Terminal Servers, VPN Servers, Exchange Servers, and a mix of services found in an Active Directory configured network.
The intern’s involvement with computer forensics activities may include reviewing data and files for relevance to an investigation, organization of the computer lab, and copying large amounts of data to secondary backup drives. At no time would the intern be required to review data deemed sensitive or criminal in nature.
Any individual selected for the position would have to submit to a drug test, submit to a criminal/background investigation, and sign a non-disclosure agreement. Assignments will be adjusted depending on the experience of the intern. Interested students are encouraged to submit their resume.
