Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) selected Protus3 to perform a Security Assessment, Security System Design, and Project Management of Remote Water Sites. This project encompassed ten locations previously defined by OWASA.
Scope of Work
The initial project included an electronic security assessment for all ten OWASA facilities. The objective of this assessment was to evaluate the electronic security of the selected facilities. Protus3 created an assessment report with findings and recommendations. Protus3 then used that information to create the electronic security basis of design.
The assessment report included detailed information about the desired expectations of the electronic security systems and the installation of them. This document then became the basis for all electronic security design documentation. Next, an official RFP was issued to authorized security integration companies to prepare an official bid to upgrade/replace the security systems per the detailed scope of work. Following the bid process, Protus3 provided construction administration services to support the installation review. Finally, Protus3 provided a final system commissioning report.
