On February 14, 2017, Dana Frentz, CHPA attended the first quarterly meeting for 2017 of the ASIS Women in Security Council. It was hosted by Roberta Scoblick of Sunstates Security. The guest speaker was Steve D’Ercole, the Security Business Development Manager (SBDM) for Anixter’s Global Security Solutions. He presented “Trends and Drivers in the Security Market”.
The goal of the ASIS Women in Security Council is to provide support and assistance to women in the security field, as well as inspire those interested in entering the profession.
The Women in Security group provides a platform for women to accelerate their career path with the help of seasoned leaders. At the core, WIS seek to grow ASIS International’s global membership by encouraging the next generation of women into the industry.
