Rusty Gilmore and Nia Singletary attended an Eastern Carolina Infragard Chapter meeting at Cisco on April 20, 2016. FBI Special Agent Peter Ahearn delivered a compelling presentation involving the first Computer Fraud and Abuse Act case heard in the Eastern District of North Carolina. Following the presentation was a panel discussion. On the panel were Supervisory Special Agent Jessica Nye, Assistant United States Attorney Adam Hulbig, and Partner of Smith Anderson Law Firm Alicia Gilleskie. Nye, Hulbig, and Gilleskie contributed their insights to this particular case in regards to each of their fields of practice.
