Meredith College’s Sociology and Criminology Department in partnership with ASIS Chapter 119 Women in Security (WIS) sponsored a panel discussion with six North Carolina Police Chief Pioneers. The event illustrates a high-level shift in an industry that has always been and is still dominated by men. Each of the women in law enforcement on the panel demonstrated that leadership, determination, goal setting, and fearlessness know no boundaries. Read more about the event here.

Protus3 would like to thank each of the Chiefs for sharing your experiences, some of the challenges you have overcome, events that shaped you, mentors who supported you, and the principles that you have chosen to live by. As women, wives, mothers, daughters, mentors, friends, and sisters, you shared with the group that as messy as life is, that with the “right” support group barriers can be overcome.
Thank you to Meredith College for hosting and collaborating with ASIS Chapter 119 WIS!
